KING COUNTY | RECYCLED WATER

RECYCLED WATER & KING COUNTY

C. Young Creative recently created a number of short video videos that highlight Recycled Water and it’s use to maintain 60 Acres Park in Redmond. Recycled Water is pretty amazing!

The Waste Water Treatment plants takes all the water that goes down our drains, cleans it and reuses it to take pressure off our rivers and streams. It is used for street cleaning and irrigation, not for drinking water, but it is perfectly safe and a great way to recycle something that is a limited resource. We learned a lot and you can too... right here.

The assignment: Create 4 short videos that highlight an individual and why they think Recycled Water is important to the community. And then, from those 4 videoes, create one overall video that ties it all together. We had 6 hours at 60 Acres Park to shoot 10 interviews and capture enough B-roll to fill each video. It was going to be very challenging to pull off but we had our  team and a good plan.

Our crew: Director | Caleb Young, Assistant Director | Avielle Heath, Sound Mixer | Andy Rick, Production Assistant | Isaac Sheldrup. So yeah, very small. We had a lot to pull off and not a lot of time or bodies, but we made it work. We had one great thing going for us: an AD that had a good plan and communicated well. It was a short, but tiring day, but we had a good time and created something that the client loved. And best of all, we got dinner and drinks at Fonda La Cantrina in Georgetown. Which is really, one of the reason we work in Seattle, right?
